city chiefs player more sad news rocking the nfl. dallas cowboys ease nose tackle josh brent under arrest after a car crash that killed his teammate jerry brown. brown was just 25 years old. he was a member of the cowboys' practice squad. dominique is live in l.a. with the latest. dominique? >> hi, rick. jerry brown was a practice squad line backer. he was killed in the one-car accident around 2:20 in the morning in the dallas suburb of irving. his teammate josh brent was behind the wheel, and just the two of them were in the vehicle. the police department described how the accident unfolded. >> it appears as if he was traveling at a high rate of speed at which time his vehicle touched or impacted the outside curb of the service road causing his vehicle to flip at least one time. the vehicle ultimately came to rest on its top once it slid back into the roadway and came to rest in the center of the service road. >> they say brown pictured here during his college days was found unresponsive at the scene and once he got to the hospital he was pronounced dead. it was supposed that they

as jacintha saldanha, a 46-year-old mother of two. she was married from the english city of bristol but lived a short distance from here in the week where when she was working here at the edward vii hospital in central london in the staff quarters there. that's where her body was found. yeah, you're right. a lot of anger expressed on the social media about this. also a lot of sadness and sympathy being expressed with those associated with the death, first and foremost the duke and duchess of cambridge. they have issued a statement expressing their statement saying how wonderfully well in their words they were treated by the hospital staff during the time that katherine, the duchess of cambridge, was treated here for her very severe morning sickness. the hospital has come out as well, the management of the hospital saying that they are very regretful and sad about what happened and paying tribute to a nurse that was with them for the last four years and who they say treated hundreds of patients very well indeed. also, you mentioned the ceo of the company that owns that radio station in sydney

to stay clear. fighting near the airport and around the capital city has intensified in the past week. the latest amateur video showed street battles and a car set afire by a rocket attack. the exiled leader of hamas khaled meshaal entered gaza today for the first time. it was, in part, a show of defiance after the militant group's latest clash with israel. we have a report narrated by jonathan rugman of "independent television news." >> reporter: he crossed the border from egypt with tears in his eyes. the leader of hamas setting foot on palestinian territory for the first time in 37 years. he had never been to gaza in his life but after kissing the tarmac apparently sobbing as he did so khaled meshaal said gaza had always been in his heart. there to greet him were the al qassam brigades. named after an arab rebel leader killed by the british in the 1930s. 80 years on the fight for self- rule isn't over. and thousands turned out to watch meshaal's cavalcade crawl through gaza city just days after a war with israel which left around 160 palestinians dead. >> the second was when i was
